About Mr Stephen E McCabe
With 34 years as an A&E Consultant and medico-legal expert, Mr McCabe combines breadth of experience, wisdom and balance to produce objective, incisive reports on a range of personal injuries from life-threatening to minor, from head injury to strokes, from chest trauma to chest pain, from wounds to burns, and from back pain to Cauda Equina Syndrome.
Mr McCabe has a wealth of experience in both simple personal injury reporting, producing around 500+ reports a year, and the more complex and in depth medical negligence cases, regarding ED breach of duty, at around 50 yearly. He has given evidence in the Court of Appeal, the High Court, Coroner’s Inquests and the Magistrates Courts as an expert witness having undergone Bond Solon Training in report writing, joint statements and giving evidence in Court.
Having received regular instructions from Kennedy’s, Slater & Gordon, NHS Wales and many of the largest medico-legal agencies, Mr McCabe has extensive experience representing both Claimants and Defendants.
The personal injury consultation is an opportunity for Mr McCabe to share his knowledge and expertise in recovery from injury with claimants.
Mr McCabe is available to give short form advice to instructing parties where doubt exists about the validity of breach of duty allegations, particularly in Emergency Care.
